COLLAGRAPHY: EXPLORING TEXTURE AND PRINT

Join us for an artistic adventure that delves into the intricacies of Collagraphy.

The workshop will start off with an insightful introduction to the art form. Following a thorough demonstration of the tools and materials, each participant is equipped with a paper board for their base plate, along with pencils, scissors, and glue. A personalized touch is encouraged as participants contribute their fabric, plastic, or sandpaper items.

The creative phase unfolds as participants transfer their ideas onto the plates, thoughtfully navigating light and shadow intricacies. Materials are cut and arranged, giving rise to different textures and forms.

Under the instructor's guidance, ink application becomes an art in itself, skillfully administered with brushes. The tactile experience of gloved hands ensures a seamless process. The spotlight then shifts to the art of even ink distribution, a pivotal factor for achieving high-quality prints. As plates and paper meet, the transformation is awe-inspiring, showcasing participants' creativity in tangible form.

By the end of the workshop, participants will share their insights and experiences, solidifying their artistic growth and carrying home their unique collagraph prints.
